Ubuntu MATE 20.10 (Groovy Gorilla) is the latest standard release from Ubuntu MATE team, supported for 9 months until July 2021. It comes with latest MATE desktop 1.24.1, Firefox 81, LibreOffice 7.0.2, Evolution 3.38, and Celluloid 0.18.
Ubuntu MATE team is expected to release Ubuntu MATE 20.04 and 20.10 images for the Raspberry Pi in the coming days.
Ubuntu MATE 20.10 includes Linux Kernel 5.8, support for USB 4, XFS online repair and much more.
