Introduction
Ubuntu Budgie 21.10 (Impish Indri) is a regular release from the Ubuntu Budgie Team, and it is an official community flavor of Ubuntu featuring the Budgie desktop. This release will be supported for nine months until July 2022.
Ubuntu Budgie uses Budgie Desktop v10.5.3 in this release and has revamped dark theme with GTK+4 support. In addition, windows Shuffler now auto-moves and arranges windows and includes a Windows 11 like optional layout.
Budgie 10.5.3 introduces support for the GNOME 40 stack.
Budgie 21.10 comes with Linux Kernel v5.13, Firefox v92 using a native Debian package, while Ubuntu 21.10 uses a snap package, GNOME 40 applications, and some GNOME 41 applications, and LibreOffice v7.2.1.
